“My family, friends & spiritual leaders around the world are the humans that I look to for inspiration. My intention for this album was to bring forth positivity for anyone struggling during these times.” -Osmunda Music

A while ago we took a deep dive into the work of Osmunda Music.
Exploring her previous full-length ‘Munda’ was quite an unprecedented experience in our time spent reviewing as it was the most positive record we’ve ever heard.
And we’re not talking neutral or simply pumped up and uplifting, we’re talking REAL positive – from each note that’s played to the last word sang in it. It’s refreshing to see music being used to spread love, positivity, motivation and peace, especially in times like ours. So, when we saw a new record from Osmunda Music in our inbox we got excited to see where she takes us this time.

It’s not often that we can come across artists with such a true vision and overall message of unity, but we are blessed today with Osmunda Music.
Bringing her track “Love Will Overcome” to the world, we are reminded that we are all here for a greater purpose and that we are uniting for a bigger purpose. That purpose is to love.

Can you give our readers some background on your music?
With my music, I wanted to make a statement about the undeniable power of positivity—manifest in all of its forms—and the genuine effect of that force in the world. For so many of us, daily news cycles can be a reminder of the dramatic currents that shake our world in conflict-ridden and negative ways, and I see my work as a musical notebook that listeners can use to write their own narratives of affirmation.
“Empathy creates compassion”
I have already released two albums – “Munda” & “Love Will Overcome” & will be releasing my 3rd on July 31, 2020 called “Sending My Love”
My initial inspiration for “Sending My Love” came at the beginning of the “stay at home” lockdown. I immediately knew that one thing that I could do to help the world during this crisis was to send messages of love & positivity. I created one per week & offered them as free downloads on SoundCloud. As a result of being created very quickly, the songs are all minimal & fresh.
“Sending My Love” was birthed by creating chants of simple, minimal lyrics to build & nurture a caring and loving consciousness.
“Let’s be loving people and create a loving world”

Is there any funny-unique story you would like to share with us, always in relation to your music ‘career’?
4 of my siblings & I were in a band for a talent show. At 5 years old, I was the go-go dancer!
Which track of your own would you point out as the most unique and why?
“Great Spirit” – this piece was originally a Native American prayer that I set to music. It stands outside of the traditional realm of songwriting but is a crucial & powerful piece from tribal culture.
